INGREDIENTS: Organic Jojoba Oil infused with Organic Japanese Green Tea and Madagascar Centella Asiatica, 15% Vitamin C Oil (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), 10% Vitamin E Oil (D-Alpha Tocopherol).
1. Organic Unrefined Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil from the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, USA:
The unique climate and conditions of the Sonoran Desert create a nutrient profile to the jojoba plant, resulting in an oil that is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids! We use a gentle first-pressed, cold-pressed extraction method. The Jojoba seeds are crushed and pressed at low temperatures to preserve their natural, beneficial compounds.
Research has demonstrated that first-pressed, cold-pressed Jojoba Oil retains a higher concentration of antioxidants, including vitamin E and plant sterols, compared to traditional heat-extraction methods.
2. Organic Japanese Sencha Green Tea:
Backed by extensive research, Japanese Sencha Green Tea is renowned for its high levels of catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Research has shown that EGCG possesses potent antioxidant properties that combat free radicals, reducing oxidative stress on the skin!
The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology published research demonstrating that green tea's anti-inflammatory properties can soothe irritated skin, making it an ideal choice for those with sensitive or problem-prone skin.
The polyphenols in green tea, such as EGCG also help to improve the elasticity of the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
We specifically chose Green Tea from Japan as it is widely recognized as the best location for producing high-quality green tea due to several factors:
Japan's geography, with its volcanic soil and mountainous terrain, provides an ideal environment for green tea cultivation and elevating the nutrient content of the leaves.
Japan is famous for its shade-grown tea. Covering the tea plants with shading material before harvest results in increased levels of chlorophyll, amino acids, and antioxidants in the leaves.
Japan also emphasizes sustainable and environmentally friendly tea cultivation practices without the use pesticides and herbicides in many Japanese tea gardens results in cleaner and safer tea.
3. Organic Madagascar Centella Asiatica:
Centella Asiatica is a small herbaceous plant that has a long history of traditional use in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. Centella Asiatica is known for its various potential health benefits, especially in skin care and wound healing.
-
Research published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology indicates that Centella Asiatica promotes the production of collagen, which is crucial for skin elasticity, helping to reduce the appearance of scars and blemishes.

-
A study in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences highlights the potent anti-inflammatory properties of Centella Asiatica. It soothes and calms irritated skin, making it especially beneficial for those with sensitive or troubled skin.

-
The European Journal of Dermatology reports that Centella Asiatica has been traditionally used for wound healing. It can help accelerate the skin's natural repair processes, supporting overall skin health.
Fancy Farm is committed to providing the best for your skincare needs, so we've chosen Centella Asiatica sourced from the heart of Madagascar. Madagascar's unique environment, rich biodiversity, and ethical farming practices nurture the purest and most potent Centella Asiatica!
4. Vitamin C Oil (Tetrahexlydecyl Ascorbate):
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, or THD, is a stable form of Vitamin C. What sets it apart is its lipid (fat) solubility, enabling it to penetrate deeply into the skin.
Researchers propose that THD's unique fatty acid component enhances its affinity for the skin, facilitating deeper penetration. This exceptional form of Vitamin C pairs well with Vitamin E, green tea and enhances its efficacy for anti-aging benefits.
When it comes to targeting hyperpigmentation, research shows that amounts of 5% Vitamin C or greater are necessary for best results (We use 15% in our formulas).
- Scientific research in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology confirms that Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is highly effective in reducing the appearance of dark spots and promoting a more even skin tone.
- A study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology found that THD stimulates collagen production, which is crucial for skin's elasticity. Increased collagen can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
5. Vitamin E Oil (D-Alpha Tocopherol) derived from Organic Cold-Pressed Olives
Scientific studies have shown that the combination of Vitamin E and Vitamin C combined together stimulate collagen production. This, in turn, promotes skin's elasticity and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Benefits of Vitamin E:
- Powerful antioxidant protection against free radicals.
- Moisturizes and hydrates the skin, preventing dryness.
- Supports the skin's natural healing processes.
- Reduces the appearance of scars and blemishes.
Our Vitamin E Oil is derived from organically grown olives, ensuring the absence of harmful pesticides and chemicals.
Through an exclusive distillation and extraction method, we derive our Vitamin E from olives rather than sunflowers. This commitment to organic farming preserves the oil's purity and quality, making it safer for your skin.
Crafted with meticulous care and time-honored dedication:
We begin crafting this serum by grinding Green Tea and Centella Asiatica leaves together. These grounded leaves then find their new home in jars with Jojoba Oil, where they steep in the sun for a minimum of four weeks, shaken daily here in the Fancy Farm kitchen.
On the day of bottling, we elevate the infusion by gently raising the temperature of the Jojoba Oil and leaves, extracting the maximum amount of their healing properties. We then allow the oil to cool before adding the final touches, Vitamin C and E, which creates the final product now in your hands.
SCENT: Light, earthy with hints of Green Tea.
TEXTURE: Light silky oil that absorbs quickly.
SHELF LIFE: 1-2 years from the opened date. Our oil soluble Vitamin C is a very stable oil that lasts much longer than water soluble Vitamin C.
