INGREDIENTS: 100% Grade A Pasture Raised Emu Oil (AEA Certified)

Emu oil is a light weight oil that absorbs instantly and helps prevent water loss, keeping the skin hydrated and supple. The best time to apply this cream is after washing your face or after a shower while the skin is still damp!

Our Emu Oil comes from birds raised on a small USA family run farm. The oil has been certified by the American Emu Association (AEA) using a stringent process for the ethicality, quality, and purity of this product.

Aboriginal Australians have used Emu Oil for thousands of years. They used this oil for wound healing and daily skin protection. The Aborigines were the first to introduce Emu Oil as a powerful skin ointment.

Emu oil is high in Vitamin A as well as Vitamin K2.

WHERE DOES EMU OIL COME FROM AND HOW IS IT MADE?

Emu birds have a thick layer of fat along their backs. This fat is rendered and purified at a low temperature (similar to how Tallow is rendered) but not so high as to affect any of the oil’s healing properties. As Our Emu Oil is AEA certified, you can rest assured that this Emu Oil comes from a small farm that raises Emu birds for their meat and provides plenty of sun and room for the birds to roam. The oil is just a byproduct of the process, and the farm uses the entire bird!

HOW TO USE:
Use 1-2 pumps on the face and apply as needed throughout the day. Can be used on hands, body and neck. Emu oil can be applied under or on top of our Tallow creams or even mixed in. For best results: Apply the oil immediately after a bath or shower while the skin is still damp. This helps to create a physical barrier over our skin's surface and helps to retain moisture. Can be used as many times as needed.

Benefits:

Prevents water loss from the skin, increasing hydration.

Relieves dry, red, or itchy skin.

Helps stimulate skin-cell regeneration and improves skin tone and elasticity
Rejuvenates dull, tired skin.

Fights fine lines and hyperpigmentation.

Skin types that benefit from Emu Oil:
All skin types will definitely benefit from this oil! Especially those with oily and acne-prone skin. Emu oil helps reduce redness and inflammation while diminishing acne scars with prolonged use. The high Vitamin A content in Emu oil is extremely beneficial for those with acne-prone skin.

Emu oil will not clog pores and scores a very low 1 on the comedogenic scale. Many studies have shown that Emu Oil has been shown to speed up the the development of new skin cells by penetrating deeply into the skin where new cells form and it also helps reduces the buildup of acne scars.

Packaging: 2 oz amber glass bottles with pump nozzle for easy application.

Scent: Odorless! Pastured raised emu oil has no scent.
Shelf life: Grade A Emu Oil is generally considered to have a shelf life of 1 to 1-1/2 years at room temperature. Shelf life can be extended with refrigeration up to 2 years.
