Our Emu Oil comes from birds raised on a small USA family run farm. The oil has been certified by the American Emu Association (AEA) using a stringent process for the ethicality, quality, and purity of this product.

Emu Oil Glass Bottle Dispenser Usage Tips: If you are in a cold climate Emu Oil will become more firm - we recommend letting the Emu Oil glass bottle sit in a cup of warm water for five minutes or running warm water over the packaging to let it thaw and become more runny. We also recommend pumping the glass bottle dispenser 5-10 times before oil will come out. 

Where Does Emu Oil Come From and How Is It Made?

Emu Oil is sourced from the fat of the Emu bird, a large, flightless bird native to Australia. Emus have a thick layer of fat along their backs, which is carefully harvested and rendered to produce the oil. The fat is first carefully extracted from the bird, then slowly heated to remove impurities, a process known as rendering. This gentle heating process ensures the oil retains its beneficial properties, including its high content of essential fatty acids and vitamins.

Our Emu Oil is AEA (American Emu Association) certified, which guarantees it meets rigorous standards for quality and purity. It comes from a small, ethically-run farm that raises Emus for their meat. The farm provides the birds with plenty of space to roam and access to sunlight, supporting their natural well-being. The oil is a byproduct of the farming process, and the farm uses the entire bird, ensuring sustainability and minimal waste.

HOW TO USE:
Use 1-2 pumps on the face and apply as needed throughout the day. Can be used on hands, body and neck. Emu oil can be applied under or on top of our Tallow creams or even mixed in. For best results: Apply the oil immediately after a bath or shower while the skin is still damp. This helps to create a physical barrier over our skin's surface and helps to retain moisture.
